For patients and loved ones who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, this can be a very scary time in life. I empathize with them and have a way of getting people to open up and share how they’re feeling. My goal is to be a good listener and educator and make people feel comfortable as they go through the treatment process. I have always been passionate about cancer care. My interest sparked when I worked in an inpatient medical/oncology unit in Chicago for several years. This passion has been strengthened by witnessing my own family members and friends bravely battle the disease.
