Yes, we are open for business and scheduling appointments! Due to the current Coronavirus situation, we want to notify all of our customers and friends of changes to our business that may affect those with scheduled service.
We will be slightly adjusting our hours to 9:00-5:00 Monday - Friday. As always, if you'd prefer to drop off your vehicle before service we have a locked drop box on the North corner of our building. You may also contact us if you would prefer to pay for service over the phone/by mail and request an alternative pickup (instead of coming into the office) during this time.
We are doing our part to ensure the health and safety of anyone who enters our business by cleaning and sanitizing touched surfaces consistently throughout the day and maintaining social distancing protocols as required.

This month marks 10 years since we opened the doors of Steinhauer Automotive in 2009. Thank you for your consistent love, support, and business over the last decade. Steinhauer Automotive is seeking an experienced automotive technician. We have been in business since 2009, and several employees worked together for decades at Gibson Ford in Junction City before they closed during the recession. We pride ourselves in being honest technicians and providing quality repair and service to our customers’ vehicles.
This position will be full time; the shop is open Monday – Friday 8am-5:00pm. 1 hour lunch.
Duties and responsibilities include
• Ability to diagnose and work on various makes and models of passenger vehicles.
• Maintains an organized neat and safe bay.
• Performs quality inspections to ensure vehicles don’t have unresolved issues
• Ability to complete maintenance services, general repairs, and diagnostics.
• Must have own tools, shop will provide major tools/equipment (lifts, brake lathe, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record
• Must be dependable, have a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
