Stephen G. Kimmel, MD, is a general and thoracic pediatric surgeon. He received his medical degree from Brown University in Rhode Island. During his residency term at UC-Irvine, he was the distinguished Chief Resident in General Surgery followed by appointment as a Research Fellow in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Kimmel also served as the Pediatric Surgical Fellow at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He is currently serving as Medical Director of Pediatric Surgical Services at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. He has a wealth of published studies and is a sought-after speaker and presenter. Dr. Kimmel kindly devoted time and talent for Haiti earthquake relief.
