Please join us for our first annual Steven Barber State Farm Blood Drive as we partner with the American Red Cross. We will have a blood bus at our agency July 17th from 10am to 4pm. Appointments will fill up fast as there are limited spots due to restrictions from Covid-19. If you are interested in donating please comment or contact our office from 9AM to 5PM at 817-238-2265. For everyone that donates blood you will receive a Covid-19 antibodies test free of charge provided by the American Red Cross.
Message from the American Red Cross:
“As a critical partner in our lifesaving mission, I wanted to share that the American Red Cross is now testing all blood, platelet and plasma donations for Covid-19 antibodies. We are fortunate to be able to step up to help during this pandemic and offer this service at blood drives.
The antibody test is authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration(FDA) and will indicate if the donor’s immune system has produced antibodies to the corona virus, regardless of whether they developed symptoms. This test is not to diagnose current Covid-19 symptoms, referred to as a diagnostic test.”

Today snuck up on me. It’s been four years since we opened our State Farm agency. It has not been easy but it has been a blast. Thankfully God has given me the best team and Service manager Brenda Parish-Baumhardt I could have asked for. I would not have made it without them. Thank you Jim Goldsworthy, for your mentoring and wisdom.

Okay y'all, I know everyone’s prepping for the 2021 tournament season. I just wanted to make a post about how important it is to have your kayaks and trailers insured. This is my buddy Lance Reynolds Hobies and trailer. He just spent a ton of money a few weeks prior to add a spot lock trolling motor on his Hobie Pro Angler. A guy going down the road swerved to miss a kid in the road and struck his trailer, kayaks, and truck while he was at work! He has been fighting with both insurance companies to pay for this and almost missed his first event of the year. Yes, his insurance told him everything that was attached to his truck was covered, but that wasn't the case. Homeowners wouldn't cover it because it was over $1500. I know lots of you have some very expensive setups. Please insure them for your own good. We have a FANTASTIC sponsor that has been with us for a few years.
