Dr. Steven Cho is a primary care physician who practices in Torrance. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, HIV/AIDS medicine, obesity, and working with patients to manage chronic medical conditions including hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes. He practices personalized medicine in an empathetic manner with the goal of partnering with his patients and empowering them to live long and healthy lives.
Dr. Cho received his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from UC Davis. He then earned his medical degree from St. George’s University, where he graduated cum laude, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Hawaii. As a resident physician, he worked in a busy clinic and provided comprehensive and cost-conscious care to a medically underserved population.
When he’s not working, Dr. Cho enjoys playing basketball and tennis, weight lifting, hiking, cooking and watching movies. He is fluent in Burmese.
