It turns out that acute pancreatitis has significant seasonal variation, being more common in summer than winter in this study at Saint Agnes Healthcare. And its incidence and annual trends vary significantly among demographic and socioeconomic groups. We hope this knowledge may be useful for the planning of healthcare resources and identification of at-risk populations.
