Dr. Steven C. Dennis is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in Disorders and Surgery of the Spine. He has been in private practice in Orange County for 30 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, Western Orthopedic, California Medical, and California Orthopedic Associations and the Orange County Medical Association.
After attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Dennis attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. After graduation, Dr. Dennis went on to perform his residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a spine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
His current practice focuses on the evaluation of all spinal symptoms and he is available for new consultations, second opinions, and all non-operative care and management options.
His goal is to evaluate each patient as a unique individual and tailor the diagnostic and treatment options based on their specific symptoms, history and functional limitations.
Through the use of technology, MRI and CT scan, the availability of outstanding neurologic consultation and testing when indicated, and many traditional western treatment options, as well as acupuncture and possible injections, most patients will find both symptomatic and functional improvement without surgical intervention.
My hope is to not only help our patients resolve their pain and symptoms but to give them the knowledge to both manage or avoid them in the future.
