Dr. Ando is a Los Angeles native who received his medical degree at UCLA, and completed his residency training at the San Fernando Valley UCLA program. He earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
Prior to joining UCLA Health, Dr. Ando worked as a physician for the Motion Picture Fund from 1998 until the group was acquired by UCLA in 2014. Before that, he was medical director of the Burbank Medical Clinic, and regional medical director for Mullikin Medical Centers, where he was also chairman of the internal medicine department.
When he�s not working, Dr. Ando enjoys fishing, reading and playing golf.
