I love my nickname around Jackson as the “community service guy.” Our agency is involved in over 60 community service events every year – both helping local organizations, such as the Mississippi Coalition for Domestic Violence, and hosting our own events. Each fall, we give over 3,000 backpacks full of school supplies to underprivileged local kids and since 2011 have hosted the Breakfast of Champions at Jackson State University for high achieving student athletes.
When people ask me what it’s like to live in Jackson, I tell them that it’s like being at a southern restaurant every day. As a Jackson native and graduate of Merrill High School in Jackson, I know that southern hospitality is real, and this area is like a big family. I honestly feel that the reason that I am where I am in my career and life is because of the support that the people of Jackson have given me over the years.
I love being an insurance agent for Allstate and helping customers protect themselves and their families. But most all, I love working for a company that is so focused on giving back. I have made three great decisions in my life — marrying my wife, having a child and becoming an Allstate agent.
