Our clinic remains open and committed to taking the best possible care of your pets during this time. However, we are implementing some temporary policies for everyone’s safety: All appointments and medication/food pickups will be curbside only. Clients should remain in their cars when arriving at our clinic and call for assistance. After receipt of the call, our staff will either check you in as soon as possible from outside of the hospital, drop off the food or medication or provide you with additional details. If you are feeling ill or experiencing flu-like symptoms and have an upcoming appointment, please call us to reschedule or make accommodations with a friend or family member to bring in your pet at our clinic. Thank you for understanding!

One of the reasons we recommend flea and tick year round is because the ticks are becoming more resistant to the cold temps. Monday there was a high of 26 degrees, and we pulled this guy off one of our patients. Yuck!

When we discuss dental disease, we hear “Well they eat fine and don’t seem painful, how could I have missed that?” The truth is most animals don’t show pain, as it’s a sign of weakness. Below are pictures (before and after a cleaning) of a kiddo that was not showing any symptoms of pain, but would occasionally drop their food. Most of these teeth were so diseased they needed to be removed, but we’ve heard that they are a completely new kiddo and very happy!
