Happy Friday guys and gals! Hope these crazy temps aren’t being too hard on ya! Just a quick p.s.a..... the video below shows why it is SO incredibly important to keep up on fluid maintenance! This is a clutch master cylinder out of a Toyota Tacoma that came in with a major clutch issue! This nasty old fluid damaged the master cylinder, forcing replacement! The system had to be flushed multiple times to get the rest of the system clean!

331MPH. That’s how fast the SSC Tuatara went in one direction. to set a record requires a car run in two directions within one hour, so the Tuatara’s official speed record is 316.11MPH.
What do you think?
We’re impressed. To go so fast requires quite an engine. A twin-turbo V8 built by the mad scientists at @nelsonracingengines. It makes 1,750HP but this car is about more than brute force. To go so fast requires every bit of the car be planned and perfected.
The shape must be perfect. Slippery yet stable. At that speed most cars would be grinding their oil pans into the ground or flying to Mars.
It took ten years for SSC to get this car from concept to conquerer. How long it will be before the next car takes a swing, we don’t know. One might think that this is fast enough but that’s not how the human mind works.
For now our hat is off to @ssc_northamerica. They’ve built an incredible, beautiful car that has likely settled their rivalry with Bugatti once and for all. #ssc #tuatara
