“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.“
- John 15:13
On September 11, 2001 many of our fellow Americans who were first responders gave their lives to save others. These selfless individuals were and are true heroes whose actions make us proud to live in this great country!!!
It is my sincere hope that ALL will pause and remember that we are not each other‘s enemies and that it is hatred that resulted in the many lives that were taken by the acts of terrorists. To honor our fellow Americans who gave their lives, let us try to put a little love in our hearts.

Coming next week: Get My Payment shows Economic Impact Payment date, helps with direct deposit
To help everyone check on the status of their payments, the IRS is building a second new tool expected to be available for use by April 17. Get My Payment will provide people with the status of their payment, including the date their payment is scheduled to be deposited into their bank account or mailed to them.
An additional feature on Get My Payment will allow eligible people a chance to provide their bank account information so they can receive their payment more quickly rather than waiting for a paper check. This feature will be unavailable if the Economic Impact Payment has already been scheduled for delivery.

IRS pushes April 15 U.S. tax deadline to May 15
Yes, it is true that you now have until May 15th to file and pay your Federal taxes for 2020. However, we strongly encourage you to drop off your tax returns at the time you normally would. The reasons for the extension are to give taxpayers more time to pay AND give preparers more time with the returns. It is taking longer to prepare each return due to the amount of changes from 2020 and the pandemic.
At this time, any return dropped off after April 27th will automatically be extended.
