One of the things we strive for at Stonelake is cutting edge technology. This is an example of that. This is a Conebeam CT image captured in our office. It took 10 seconds and the amount of radiation used with our Sirona Cone beam CT machine is minimal. Dentistry has come a long way from the regular 2 Dimensional x rays. We do utilize them still today bit there have always been limitations with a 2 dimensional representation of a 3 dimensional structure. With a 3 dimensional analysis of the upper and lower jaws we are able to better serve our patients by diagnosing disease earlier, more precise planning of dental implants, and developing better prosthetic solutions by combining with other cutting edge technologies.

Can you believe these teeth are made out of wax? It’s true! Before I start a cosmetic case I always “begin with the end in mind”. These teeth have been planned to receive top and bottom porcelain veneers to let our patient have the smile they have always dreamed of. If you are worried about what the teeth will look like do not worry! I am able to do a “mock up” on your own teeth which is completely reversible, to show you what the teeth look like and to see how esthetically pleasing the new smile is in the face.
