Stonewall Ranch is a special property located close to Los Angeles with stunning ocean and mountain views. Thirty years ago, we purchased this pristine Malibu ranch to raise our family, grow organic fruit and have the equestrian lifestyle we both loved. My husband’s obsession with dry stacked stone walls began and, over the years, has given this property it’s name and unique look. The many roads throughout the ranch are lined with wonderful stone walls painstakingly created with the natural local rocks over many hours of intense labor. These walls along with organic citrus and avocado orchards, large areas of native vegetation, groves of oaks and sycamores and open meadows and hillsides give Stonewall Ranch it’s distinctive look.
The main house is a traditional style with Mediterranean influences and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, huge pine trees and a pool. During most of the year, the gardens overflow with hundreds of roses contained within boxwood and ficus hedges. The cottages are charmingly rustic, hidden beneath century old oaks. There is a koi fish pond with huge sycamores and of course, stone walls. The equestrian facilities have been designed and used by knowledgable horse people over many years and the barns also have a Mediterranean influence to match the house. There are about 35 horses presently on the property including three adorable mini horses who are available to star in your next production!
