1950 Studebaker Truck fully boxedwith 3/16” plate steel. Triangulated 4-link is next.
Installing a MII IFS with full boxing plates on a 1950 Studebaker truck. We are not a cookie cutter Ford and Chevy shop (although we do those too). We try to help everyone we can, call us with your unique rides!
Project Grumpy Old Van update. Front end is out and fine tuning the ride height. 4” drop in the front, 3” in the rear. This is a critical step. If you don’t have the right stance (tires, rims, rim offset, rake, turning radius) then even an expensive paint job won’t make it look right. Was having a hard time visualizing rake with all the rust holes, so I improvised and used some cheap painters tape to give it a solid look on the bottom half.
Time to start designing the MII IFS and Triangulated 4-link.
The suspension upgrade on project Grumpy Old Van has started. Plans are MII and triangulated 4-link. More pics to come. Rearend and springs will be available for free, along with the front axle. Contact me if you are interested.
Of course the last bolt to come out is being stubborn. We’ll have to melt the rubber bushing out with a torch.
Starting the tear down of the 1951 Ford roadster. We will be installing our 1949 - 51 Ford subframe. You will get to see just how easy it is!
