Closing Pools, Closing Pools, Closing Pools... We will be out every day now closing the pools. Let’s talk soon if we do not have you on the schedule yet.
If any one of you, my clients, needs concrete and/or coping work done around your pool, this is the guy you want to get ahold of. Talk to him to get on the schedule for next year, as I’m not even sure if he has appointment times available yet this year. When working around a pool, special care needs to be taken, and ideally you want someone who is familiar with working around pools. John has been working around pools for decades. He does full bust-out and replacement work and stamped concrete as seen. And let him know I sent you. I’ll attach his contact info in the comments. John DeAngelis Sr. is with Jake Carlson and 3 others. September 17 at 8:48 AM · One more stamped patio LaCabana Mexican Grill Richfield wi .
It’s that time of the year... Pool Closing Season! With the fantastic pool season that we just had and the early cold and crummy weather, booking phone calls have started coming in much earlier and the volume of early calls is up significantly. Normally we recommend at least two weeks notice, but if possible, we’re gonna need 3 weeks notice this year. We’ve got a very few appointment times available in September, but October still has a lot of availability. As soon as you have a close date in mind, call or text and let’s get something on the calendar ASAP if you’re looking for a closing anytime before the middle of October. We’re booking into the first and second week of October and that will full up next...
Whatcha doin this weekend? Have you always wanted to pick up a sauna to go along with your pool and hot tub? Our industry friends at Legacy Pool and Hot Tub on Mequon Rd in Mequon have a sale this weekend. Go and check out their store and tell them I sent you. Mike Sterns - the owner, and his son run an honest business operation, so I’m always glad to send my clients to them, because I know you’ll get an honest, straight-forward response to any question you may have. While in-store, check out their chemicals if you are in need of any for the remainder of the season. They’re another great option for my North Shore clients in need of products and answers, and I’m glad to have you visit and spend money with them supporting another local, small business that takes pride in their brand. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend everybody, and if you haven’t called to schedule a pool closing, let’s talk soon. We’ve got lots of time yet, but as you think of it, let’s get that scheduled! Talk soon... Legacy Pool & Hot Tub September 3 at 4:26 PM · This Saturday marks the start of our Labor Day Sauna Sale. Up to 20% OFF list price on any sauna room. You won’t want to miss out on these great deals! Shop in store from September 5th- September 12th to see what we have to offer. Open Labor Day 10am-2pm
Heater install #21 for 2020, and re-plumb, and it’s only noon! Getting rid of the 1-1/4” corrugated tubing and threaded bushing couplers on this above-ground pool and completely hard-plumbing the system from point of suction to the return EASILY doubled the water-flow. We most likely increased the flow rate from around 30GPM to 60GPM, meaning, this pool only needs 6 hours to get 1-Turn of the water instead 12, resulting in an even cleaner and clearer pool.
Big shout outs to industry reps Jeff and Jon at Pentair for the work together today and yesterday. Ryan at Fluidra the previous week, James with Hayward the week before that, Jason at Maytronics, and Mike at Raypak as always. All of you gentlemen make working in this industry enjoyable. To have manufacturer reps that stand behind their products and be extremely knowledgeable resources in times of need is fantastic! We absolutely love this and is why we at Suburban Pool and Spa LLC will NEVER sell knockoff products. Only American Brands! Heater install number 20 completed today! The plumbers work to trench the gas-line and finish the job is scheduled for Friday morning. #LettersDown
I just wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU! To each and every single one you, my clients! 2020 is a year that I’m sure none of us will ever forget... I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you all for not just the work which provides me the ability to pursue my dreams in life, but also the camaraderie. Business is not just business, it’s personal, by choice, and I hope you all feel that way as well. I hope you all stay safe and healthy this off-season. I’ll be posting of my winter adventures soon, as I want you all to come visit while I’m working in warmer weather this winter. For now, I hope you all had a great day with your families for the Holiday. God Bless! 🙏
Did you know...??? All businesses start somewhere! Most, just with an idea, and an ounce of courage. The choice of growth does not come without great consideration for most. As a business owner-operator I take great pride in not just the work that I do, but also the camaraderie developed with you, my clients over time. For me, it’s personal. And I hope that each and every one of you know that one of the main reasons why I have not chosen to grow my company is because my relationships with you all is and has been more important than the single-minded pursuit of financial gain. Only a couple more weeks til I’m back in town. I’ve taken a number of calls since my last post. There’s Lots of time and room available in the schedule, but know that I am taking calls. As the weather is nice this week I’m anticipating many more calls, and will be responding to them late in the day. I look forward to hearing from you all soon! 😬 Spring is on the way! ☀️ 🌞 😊 Have a Blessed Day! 🙏😇 Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Yesterday at 8:00 AM ·
**** To all of my clients, please read! Communicating EARLY with me this year, more so than any other year, is going to be of utmost importance in the process of doing the best job possible to service your pool. Working in Florida this winter, I’m hearing that the 300,000+ pools in Texas that suffered catastrophic damage to pumps and filters and heaters due to the power outages and subsequent freeze damage, are VERY LIKELY to cause SIGNIFICANT supply chain delays this year. Most major manufactures are warning of 4, 6, and even 8 month delays in sourcing the most common items that are damaged beyond repair, as all available equipment is being sent there from across the country, stock is depleted, and manufacturers try to catch up to demand. What you can do to help this situation is to reach out and communicate to me that your pool needs a new pump, filter, heater... whatever it may be, so that I can communicate to my suppliers as early as possible, my demand needs. Call or text me as always to make sure that I get any and all parts and equipment needed for your pool ordered, and on-hand ASAP. I have already taken calls for spring work, and I have already put in an early order to estimate my demand need for emergency situations, such as pumps that have died over winter, heaters to meet demand, and filters of clients who have requested a new install. If one of these products had an issue last year, but is not necessarily needed, this might be a year that you hang on, as fixing things that aren’t broke, sometimes leads to a bad scenario, as I’m sure we all have experienced. Though if you know something has an issue, let’s get it fixed. EARLY if possible. For those of you who have a desired pool opening date in mind, you can reach out as well, though the calendar has lots of space available, and I will be taking those calls too. Last year with COVID being new, the earliest pool opening was done on March 28th. This year, heading back to town on the 27th is the plan at the minute, so I’ll be able to accommodate very early openings as well, IF ALL of the ice in your pool has melted. With today being March 1st and warmer weather in the forecast, you may have started thinking about your pool and the upcoming pool season, and I assure you, when you’re ready to open, I’ll be ready for you to reach out. Your yearly reminder that May 15 to Memorial Day is ALWAYS the most commonly requested dates. Memorial Day falls on Monday the 31st, so we technically have one more week than last year til that day. So keep that in mind as you contemplate your booking, as those slots fill up first. So... hopefully I have provided you all with information you may be concerned about, and as you have the time will reach out, we’ll come up with a plan for your pool, and we’ll get things going ASAP. Be in touch... And I look forward to seeing, hearing, and chatting with you all! I be posting more as the season approaches.
At Suburban Pool and Spa we plan on staying at the forefront of information and technology in the Pool industry for decades to come. So that’s why yesterday it was exciting to be introduced to Raypak’s newest heater the AVIA. With a 24”x 24” footprint, lightweight, 9 patented technologies, and increased efficiency this new heater is currently being tested live in the Florida market where I have spent the winter working. They’re hoping for a fall ‘21 rollout, so by next summer, summer ‘22, if all the bugs are worked out, we’ll be able to install these that summer. Though they did say they have no plans of discontinuing the standard-atmospheric heater units. We were also shown product upgrades to the heat pump and digital spa heaters offered by Rheem/Raypak. My pledge to you all is that we will continue to install only the best products offered in the industry, using only the manufacturers with the best reputation including: Raypak, Pentair, Jandy, Hayward, Maytronics, and AquaCal, etc.
