In the time since the Governor announced that we can re open for regular dental care we have established a plan to keep our patients and staff safe, procured the proper Personal Protective Equipment and are ready to see patients. We have implemented some new procedures such as we will have patients wait in their car and give us a call before coming in to manage foot traffic, as well as sending a paperless symptom checker and coming to your car to take your temperature. When you come in we will seat you in the treatment room immediately. If you have any questions or concerns and would like to talk to us about the timing of your appointment please give us a call. For those of you who may have seen the announcement this morning out of Governor Kate Brown’s office regarding the reopening of dental offices we are thrilled with the news and anxiously waiting to hear what the requirements will be and what it will look like. At this time they have not released guidelines but we hope this is a step in the right direction! More to come!
At the end of the day yesterday Governor Brown requested that all dental offices cease non essential appointments so that we can preserve items like gloves and masks to help ensure we are covered in the event that the supply chain cannot meet demand. We are happy to do our part! You may be wondering if your appointment is essential or an emergency. We are working our way through the schedule to talk to each one of you with scheduled appointments personally. Thank you for your patience as we do this and if you do not have a dental appointment but have a dental concern we are happy to take your call to triage your needs and get you in as soon as possible and take other measures to get you out of pain. As always we have the best patients around and hope everyone stays healthy and happy. We look forward to seeing you for your regular cleanings and exams when it becomes appropriate and continuing to care for your needs! We love and appreciate each one of you!
