Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center is a medical and surgical practice that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. With three offices conveniently located in Port Jefferson Station, Hauppauge, and Riverhead, New York, the practice has been providing exceptional care to the community of Suffolk County since 1995.
Robert Pollina, MD, founded Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center with the mission of preventing vascular disease through early detection. Patients who have a history of smoking, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, or who are suffering from leg cramping, leg swelling, spider veins, or cold hands and feet should undergo a vascular screening. At Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center, vascular screenings are both affordable and accessible and can save lives.
Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center utilizes state-of-the-art screening techniques and noninvasive diagnostics to detect vascular issues in their earliest stages and prevent their development into debilitating or fatal conditions. The team offers three main types of vascular screening exams: carotid artery screenings, abdominal aortic artery screenings, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD) scans or Doppler exams.
Serving patients from all over Suffolk County, Suffolk Vascular & Vein Center is also equipped to treat vascular disease. Four board-certified surgeons, expert nurses, and attending anesthesiologists provide minimally invasive surgical treatments in the practice’s state-of-the-art, in-office angiography suites. The warm and inviting outpatient center is accredited for office-based surgery by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities and allows patients to receive noninvasive endovascular treatments without open surgery or lengthy hospital stays.
