Cardiovascular health is a crucial part of your overall wellness, especially as you age. β€οΈ One way that you can strengthen your heart is by incorporating swimming into your weekly routine. πββοΈ Swimming works to make your heart stronger and improves your cardiovascular health through the gradual increase of a steady heart rate and lowering of your blood pressure. Why are these two bi-products of swimming important? They decrease your risk of heart disease which increases as you age. π

As a part of Active Aging Week, we 'traveled' to Asia. We trained like sumo wrestlers, relaxed with some calming tai chi in nature, and filled our bellies with sushi that we made ourselves! π£ #TheWellerLife #ActiveAgingWeek

Active Aging Week has been SO much fun at Summit Hills! On Monday and Tuesday we had a great day visiting "Spain" and "England". Our Members ran with the bulls in Spain and savored some delicious olive oil and Cava after working up a sweat. πͺπΈ On Tuesday, we jetted off to England where we played croquet and ping-pong! π We are truly living The Weller Life!
