We recognized National Peace Day by uniting a wide variety of colors into a beautiful painted heart. Residents used unconventional painting tools being no paint brushes were used. Instead they used old gift cards and credit cards to paint with. The outcome was amazing!

The Veteran's Club enjoyed an armchair-style travel experience as a couple from our SP community presented American Military Cemeteries in Europe, with a focus on WWI and WWII cemeteries.
Veterans in attendance were treated to an informative and educational PowerPoint presentation, complete with video clips and photographs, this couple shared of their experiences visiting American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) cemeteries overseas which honor our servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as honoring heroes declared missing-in-action.
Their presentation showcased the many ways citizens of host countries express their gratitude for our war heroes through the care taken of these cemeteries, as well as daily remembrance and tribute for our fallen and missing-in-action with the ceremonial raising and lowering of the American flag every morning and evening, the shooting of volleys, and the playing of Taps.
Cribbage is back! You can't tell but there are smiles behind those masks 🙂

February is ❤️American Heart Month❤️ , a great time to revisit heart-healthy practices! One way to ensure good health is to keep tabs on your blood pressure, especially as doctors visits are down due to the pandemic. Self-monitoring can provide more accurate readings than what you get at the doctor's office when stress and anxiety may impact results. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/2YNyw5B

AHA, AMA urge widespread self-measured blood pressure monitoring
Wearing red to show our ongoing support of heart health! ❤️❣️❤️❣️
❤️ February is American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness of heart disease, which is the #1 killer of Americans. ❤️ This year's heart month is especially important, as it becomes evident that COVID-19 can negatively affect the heart and vascular system's overall health.
The good news is that in most cases, heart disease is preventable! Reduce your risk of heart disease by: not smoking or quitting smoking, controlling blood sugar and cholesterol, treating high blood pressure, getting 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week, and attending regular check ups!
