Mr. Wayne Carney, known to most of us as "Pops" or the "Daddy of Summit" went into the ER yesterday morning and has been in the ICU at St. Thomas Midtown since being admitted into the hospital. His heart rate was/is 32-35 beats per minute and for all intents and purposes his heart is failing.
He is in surgery at this time having a pacemaker put in and we hope and pray that this changes alot of things medically for him, concerning his quality of life. We will know in a matter of hours what the outcome is. It is a pretty scary deal and lets all just hope and pray that this will keep him here and make life easier on him for many more years to come.
Please keep Mr. Wayne, the family and all of the Summit crew in your prayers as Wayne is a huge part of our daily lives and we want to enjoy his leadership, funny stories and water cooler talk for many more years to come. Oscar Wayne Carney Ryan Carney
