With heavy hearts, we are bummed to inform you that 2020 has changed our Annual Children’s Hospital Toy Run, too.
Due to the mandates, restrictions, privacy concerns in place, and more — The Toy Run committee has decided that there will be no parade to Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.
For the safety of all, Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson will be hosting a Toy Drive from now until December 5th to collect toys, donations, and sell Annual Toy Run Pins by Quality Lapel. Once we secure more donation locations, we will post them here to get the word out. We appreciate everyone’s understanding of how difficult it is to make this decision and feel that we’ve let people down. Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson started this Toy Run 35 years ago, and are in disbelief that nothing’s kept us away before now.

The Chicano Pride Ride

Today I met with Sun Harley-Davidson and Jim Chavez of Latin American Educational foundation. We discussed the tenth annual Chicano Pride Ride. We are planning to have the ride May 1st 2021 lord willing🙏🏽. We will be considering different dates if local government still has restrictions on crowd sizes. We are still planning on giving the bike away, this bike is very special to me it was painted by a good friend who is no longer with us Larry Ortiz of Ortiz Custom Cycles. Remember you must be registered to win the bike. Sun Harley-Davidson, Latin American Educational Foundation and myself are all working hard to make sure this will be the best Chicano Pride Ride ever. I will keep you all posted as we continue to plan this epic event.

SUN Harley-Davidson is seeking a reliable candidate to support our busy service department. Duties include cleaning new units, fueling sold units, arranging the building of new units, arranging inventory, supporting the sales team and many other miscellaneous sales support functions.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT, a clean driving record [MVR] and ability to pass a drug test and background check. Good personal appearance and ability to operate unsupervised are also important. For this reason, veterans are encouraged to apply.
This is a year-round, hourly based position.

After some difficult conversations with LAEF & Sun Harley along with reviewing current COVID19 numbers and the states recommendations on large gatherings, it is with deep sadness to say that we will once again have to cancel this year's Chicano Pride Ride. We explored every option not to have to cancel but even if we were at the level green in May we would only be allowed 500 attendees. So instead of having a half ass ride we decided to cancel. Trust me when I say I hated to cancel this event. If you are registered your registration will be valid for 2022.
