I went and witnessed our new police chief being sworn in. Chief Robinson was there with his family, some of his Hernando County Sheriff family, as well as his new family of Port Richey Police Officers. Chief Robinson comes to us with 31 years experience with Hernando County Sheriff Dept. with his most recent rank of Major. He is also a Navy Veteran. I shook his hand and told him how the Port Richey Police Officers have always been wonderful with my residents and told him if they needed a place to fill out reports, to stop in our community and I personally invited Chief Robinson to stop by. It seems like we will have very good leadership!
