• Haven for Hope is open to anyone experiencing homelessness.
• Salvation Army has opened 20 overflow shelter beds at the Dave Coy Men’s Shelter located at 226 Nolan St. (IDs required)
• Several churches opened socially distanced temporary shelters including Corazon Ministries at Travis Park Church, Church Under the Bridge, City Church, Last Chance Ministries, and Life Restored Church. There is adequate capacity to shelter, especially in the downtown area, and most facilities are providing a warm place to stay and meals during the day.
• Outreach workers from DHS, Haven for Hope, SAMMinistries, CAM, Centro, Corazon Ministries, and other organizations have been working since early last week to locate people experiencing unsheltered homelessness and get them to shelter. Workers and volunteers at shelters have been working around the clock to provide a safe, warm space, complete with meal service and items for hygiene.
• Senior Centers: Curbside pickup and delivery of meals by the Department of Human Services is cancelled on Thursday, February 18. Meal distribution will resume on Monday, February 22, at its regularly scheduled time.
• Shelter for people experiencing homelessness: DHS, in coordination with providers, has continued to conduct on the ground outreach to those experiencing homeless to encourage people experiencing unsheltered homelessness to access available shelter options.
• The DHS Homeless Resource Hub at 319 W. Travis St. is open daily for warming from 9 am to 4 pm, when temporary shelters begin opening.
• The City’s Homeless Connections Hotline, 210-207-1799, is available 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for information and connection to shelter resources.
• If you see a homeless person sleeping on the ground in severe weather, please call 911.

We understand that many of you may be trying to reach us by phone or email and we are doing our best to contact everyone back as efficiently as possible. Until further notice we will be officing out of apartment #317Q in the model home behind the front office pool. We will still be working our normal office hours of Monday-Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. We are hoping to have our phone lines and internet service back up and running before the end of this week to better assist you all. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding throughout this process.
EDIT: All service requests can still be made online and any emergency service requests can be called in to the emergency maintenance line.
