Sunset Marina is owned by the City of Rock Island and managed by F3 Marina. It is located in Sunset Park at 31st Avenue and the Mississippi River at mile marker 479.8 in Rock Island, Illinois. The harbor is surrounded by 250 acres of woods and park with jogging paths, picnic and playground areas. The marina offers 473 slips for seasonal, monthly and overnight docking. Slips range in size from 16 feet to 60 feet in length. Our fuel dock, located at the east side of the harbor in Lake Potter, offers diesel and non-ethanol fuel along with free pump outs. The Marina offers restrooms with showers and coin laundry facilities. A 35-ton Marine Travel lift is on property to support the needs of boaters. Sunset Marina has a well established reputation for providing the best overall boating experience on the Rock River. You will love the vast array of marina amenities available at Sunset Marina: fuel dock with diesel and non ethanol, free pump outs, on-site coin laundry, 35 ton marine Travel lift, restrooms with showers, along with a new ship store coming in 2019. Don’t worry about hauling your boat away for the winter. Sunset Marina offers winter water and land storage along with trailer storage for your convenience.

Rena has been a beloved member of the Ocean City community and the Sunset Grille team dating back to the year 2010. The rain sure didn’t stop our crews from putting the smack down on some swordfish ⚔️ Yesterday, 9/17/20, the crew of the ‘Cabana’ returned to the dock with 3 swordfish, the heaviest weighing 271 lbs, along with a 222 lb Bigeye tuna and 30 mahi mahi. Shortly after, the crew of the ‘Sea Hag’ returned with a 422.5 lb swordfish! 🔥🔥 Great work guys. Hopefully we see more of this after the blow!
