We have been offering the highest possible quality infusion care for years, but in our new cancer center, our infusion rooms will be more spacious, comfortable, and they will have windows! Infusion treatments can make patients feel poorly, so we are happy to be able to offer this care close to home.
The CDC recently reported that wearing a mask protects you, not just the people around you, from COVID-19. Masks can only do their job if they're covering your mouth AND nose. So, #MasksOnOhio. And don't forget that keeping a distance of 6 feet and washing your hands are important, too! 🧼

In some kinds of cancers, like neck and breast cancer, long wait times between diagnosis and treatment can reduce survival rates. SEORMC's Childbirth Center has delivered our first 2021 baby. Eliana Louise was born at 5:10pm on January 2nd, 2021 to parents Nakayla Tantarelli and Jonathan Young. She weighed 7 lbs. 0.8 oz and was 20 ½” long. She was delivered by Dr. Joseph Binkiewicz. Parents and baby are doing well!

We are going to be hosting several different lung screenings in 2021. Our first is coming up on February 25 right here at the hospital. We know it was hard to get screenings and check-ups completed in 2020, so please make sure you take advantage of this opportunity. The screenings are $95.

The only thing more fun than watching March Madness is watching March Madness with friends and family. Remember, even if you are fully vaccinated, big gatherings with no masks are still not safe. Small maskless gatherings if everyone is fully inoculated have been declared safe by the CDC, however. Keep it small, keep it safe.
