I wanted to be a physician ever since I was a kid, and I always knew I wanted to help people as a career. When I volunteered at Planned Parenthood in college, it solidified my desire to care for women and become an ob-gyn. Even after many years, patient care brings me a great deal of joy. I believe in meaningful work and I’ve participated in a number of missions overseas, including trips to Guatemala, Ecuador, and Nicaragua. I was born at Kaiser Hospital in California and have been in Seattle for over 25 years. I have family and friends in both places and consider them both as home.
