Dr. Susan Raschal believes that medically treating the condition is only a part of the healing
process. She views her practice as the continuation of a covenant she made with God to treat
her patients with kindness and understanding in every step of their care. At Covenant, Dr.
Raschal and her staff focus on you or your child--your comfort, your concerns and your
spirit-- just as much as the treatment techniques and options. And yes, this includes hugs!
Dr. Raschal practiced as an allergist in Chattanooga for 11 years before her desire to be a part
of a faith-based practice led her to open Covenant Allergy and Asthma Care in 2009. She has
been published in the area of immunology. She is a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, a medical
honor service society, and a member of the teaching faculty at the University Of Tennessee
College Of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine; Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic
Medicine-Georgia campus; and Lincoln Memorial College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also
participates in the training of family practice, pediatric and internal medicine residents and
medical students.
