We survived the closure and are ready to go back to work. The girls and I have been cleaning and preparing the salon to meet all of the CDC's and governors guidelines as well as the sanitation rules we would normally take as stated by the State Board of cosmetology.
First of all, Appointments are necessary. this is so we can book enough time for each client and allow for cleaning in between. Please be sure to let your stylist now all the services you want so she can book out enough time.
Among the new procedures we are following for social distancing are, there is only one client allowed per stylist in the salon at a time. For those who sit under the dryers, we have spread the chairs out and will seat in every other chair to keep the 6 foot distance. All Stylists are wearing masks while working on a client and taking extra time to thoroughly clean between clients.
I have new Plexiglas shields for the manicure and pedicure areas as well.
We look forward to seeing our regular clients as well as welcoming new ones.

Had an amazing day today. A new client called for haircut appointments for herself and her husband. they walked in both with hair past their shoulders. The reason for the cuts were to donate their hair. We had searched the net for a company that met the criteria they wanted, A company that did not charge for the wigs they made for kids who need them.The company we found is Wigs for KIds
On the website there are specific requirements for cutting the hair for donation'
They told me this was the third time they have done this. They let their hair grow for 4 years then have it cut and donated, The husband took pictures and I asked him to send some to me so I can post them. I hope he does. We got a massive amount of hair from both of them.This act of kindness is going to make a child very happy somewhere .
