Historic preservation is important to Sutton Law Firm. We undertook the challenge to save the Mann Manor’s place in Bartow and Polk County’s history. We were saddened to see the Armory, a similar property in Lakeland, fall this week. Thankful the Mann Manor has been spared!

We have updated our Treasured Works display at the Mann Manor by replacing prints with oil reproductions of the original Monet and Renoir pieces. These remind us to take time with friends as one, Monet painting in his Garden at Argenteuil is by his friend Pierre Renoir. The other, is the painting being done in the Renoir piece by Monet, A Corner of the Garden with Dahlias 1873. Stop in for a tour.
This Christmas is special. Hurricane Irma took its toll on the upstairs, private offices, which included my office. Thank you Martha Williams and Design Line Studio for your help to restore my workspace, just in time for the holidays. A nice cozy fireplace and lovely holiday tunes.

Sutton Law Firm honors Attorney Matthew Kovschak's father, Andrew Kovschak's legacy and his many years as Police Chief, veteran and public servant.
FORT MEADE -- Mr. Andrew Kovschak of Fort Meade died of complications of Parkinson's disease Wednesday (May 19, 2004) at home. He was 85. Born in Homestead, Pa., on Aug. 18, 1918, he came to Fort Meade from Virginia, in 1963. He was retired police chief for the city of Fort Meade, and a member of the Fort Meade Police Chief's Association. He was past president of the Tampa Bay Police Chief's Association. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Fort Meade's American Legion where he was a past commander.
