Born in Washington and raised in Issaquah (when it was just a one stoplight town), I was drawn to the Eastside to run my practice. I started my medical career working as a student athletic trainer and physical therapy aide. This experience has helped me build a conservative care philosophy into my podiatric practice, with the goal of returning my patients back to their game. Medical school and residency introduced me to other interests such as diabetic foot care, women's foot issues (love of shoes) and reconstructive and ankle surgeries. I reside in West Seattle, surrounded by my parents and my six siblings and their families (so I often travel in a pack). Speaking of travel, it is a passion of mine. I love learning about new places, getting to know new people and eating unique foods. Past time pursuits also include Mariners and Huskies games, jogging, gardening and cooking.
