Growing up in a war torn country was not easy especially in a closed up society that was very restrictive in every way imaginable. I found refuge in reading, music, swimming, and drawing. Ever since childhood, I have been drawn to the mystical, magical and the unknown. When I was around twelve, I would sneak into my father’s library of rare- worm chewed up books and read. Although I had a deep interest in nutrition and I really wanted to be an artist, my love for books and reading enabled me to later receive degrees in philosophy, archaeology, archives, and fine art.
