Welcome to Swift Creek Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, Dr. Kellett Babb!
Dr. Babb joins Drs. Craig Nofzinger, Valerie Lucas, Carolyn Powell, Dannell Creasey, Andrea Butterfield and Sarah Clarke as the newest member of our team of veterinarians.
Dr. Babb graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. After graduating, she completed a small animal emergency and specialty internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolina’s. She then returned home to Virginia and has worked in emergency medicine for the past 7 years. Her interests’ include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery and transfusion medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys photography, stained glass, kickboxing and landscaping. She shares her home with her boyfriend Kyle, a hound dog named Gus and her three cats Percy, Bumble and Sassy McFatty Pants.
Dr. Babb will be available for appointments on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays (on a rotating basis).

Swift Creek Animal Hospital will be closed today, Thursday February 18th, due to the unsafe road conditions and forecast of an ice storm. If you have an emergency, please contact Virginia Veterinary Services Carytown at 353-9000 or Animal Medical Center Midlothian at 639-3900.
Swift Creek Pet Resort will be closed to the public this morning and will not offer daycare today due to the weather conditions. We will open briefly to the public between 4-6 this evening for pick ups and drop offs. Our Team will be on sight to care for our overnight guests through out the day.
