Sylvia Woods has been selling harps and harp accessories since 1978. She has been playing the harp for more than 45 years, and has written over 30 harp music books that are used by harp players of all levels. She has been one of the major leaders in the renaissance of interest in the Celtic harp. Sylvia has been on numerous TV and radio shows, including three times on Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion", and has played on the soundtracks of movies such as "Dead Poets Society" and "Prancer". The prestigious "Harp Column" magazine named Sylvia as one of the 45 "Most Influential Harp Forces of the 20th Century". For many years she owned the largest harp store in the world, in Southern California. She now sells harps, harp books, and accessories through her website and by appointment at her harp showroom in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii.
