Taacupuncture is the practice of Tracy Schmid, a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York and graduate of the Tri-State College of Acupuncture. Her primary working style is Kiiko Matsumoto's Japanese style of acupuncture. In addition, she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Physical Medicine, which includes myofascial and trigger point release techniques. Tracy utilizes all three of these styles in her practice. Having evolved over thousands of years, acupuncture is one of the oldest continually practiced medical modalities in the world. Acupuncture is a safe, effective, chemical-free way to promote the body's remarkable self-healing abilities. It is used to prevent and treat disease, relieve pain, balance mood, enhance athletic performance, increase fertility, and improve overall health and wellness. Taccupuncture has 2 locations: Manhattan (32 Union Square East b/w 15th & 16th St) and Brooklyn (36 Plaza Street East).
