October is Pastor Appreciate Month, but our pastor needs our prayers and genuine appreciation always, for the battles he is fighting along with Miss Marci. Don’t forget to send a card, thank you, have him and Miss Marci over for a meal, or what ever you would like to do to show you care during the month of October.

Hello, church family. We pray you had a great week and stayed fairly dry amidst the rain showers. You have all probably heard the news from Governor Northam concerning the new gathering numbers. We are not under the 25 or fewer mandate as a local church and will still be meeting this Sunday and abiding by our COVID regulations. Unfortunately, with this new mandate, we will have to cancel the Harvest Fellowship we had planned at the Newbys’ property next week. This is in the Lord’s hands, and we want to be safe and do our part to help contain or stop the spread of COVID-19. Hope to see you on the Lord’s day as we worship Him in song and around the preaching of His Word.

Denunciation to Deliverance
Please be in prayer for the family of longtime TBC missionary, Larry Barrett. After an extended illness, Brother Larry was ushered into the presence of our Lord Tuesday morning. He and his dear family are wonderful examples of people who are totally given to the work of the ministry. He will be missed by the Brazilians and his dear family. They and we sorrow today but not as others who have no hope. We shall see him very soon when our Savior appears. Even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly!
