McKenna Dawson signed an athletic commitment on Wednesday to compete in NCAA Acro and Tumbling at Azusa Pacific University (APU.)
McKenna, who has been highly recruited by the top Acro and Tumbling programs in the country, has decided to take her talents to APU. Acro & Tumbling is the newest NCAA sport which allows an opportunity for tumblers and gymnast to become collegiate athletes with scholarship benefits.
Azusa’s Acro and Tumbling program is ranked in the top 5 in the country, and the college is ranked among the best colleges in the USA. McKenna was lucky enough to receive one of the largest scholarships ever offered to an incoming freshman within the program. Along with receiving an athletic scholarship, she was also offered an academic scholarship.
