I guess somebody out there likes us lol. Thank you Tampa Bay, and a special shoutout to our awesome students, staff members and FB friends. Thank you all. This has indeed been a crazy, challenging year for so many reasons. Throughout this pandemic I have noted friends and colleagues that have had to shut their doors permanently. This is sad. We were Blessed to keep the school open ( virtually) even when the dojang was closed, if that makes sense.
Hopefully all of this craziness will be behind us before long. Thank you . GMB
Master Amy working with some of our family beginners class members. Notice the circles on the floor. We are trying to maintain the distancing protocol with our members during these crazy times.
It is with great sadness that I share this news to our members and friends. Indeed one of the pioneers and leaders in our art passed away today. Senior Grandmaster Choi Hee Suk, pin number 3 under Great Grandmaster Hwang Kee passed away at the age of 97. He was a founding member and fourth President of the World Tang Soo Do General Federation. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family. Rest in peace KJN.🙏
A few of our senior red belts that tested a little while back, just before all of the crazy covid-19 junk started. Mrs Kathleen , Alanah and Drake. These guys tested for 1st Gup and did awesome in their evaluations. Proud of all of the hard work they put in. Tang Soo! GMB
My neice Jaelyn from Miramar, Fl is one of our virtual students and is doing awesome in Our program. She came up to the Tampa Bay area for a visit and got to train with us in the dojang. We are very proud of her.
Our Dojang will be closed on Saturday July 4th in recognition of Independence Day. Wishing all of our members, their families and our FB friends a very happy and safe 4th of July Holiday. Everyone please stay safe. GMB
Some of our mighty LiL Dragons this past Thursday afternoon. Since it was the last class before Halloween Master Amy let everyone wear their costumes if they wanted to. These guys are so awesome and just a little bit scary.
Dear students and members, hope everyone is fine with our visit from “ Eta” yesterday and last night. We had thought about cancelling dojang classes for tonight and just doing zoom.
However, with the storm now passed, just letting everyone know we will be open for classes in the dojang tonight. Drive safe, as there will probably still be some flooded areas. GMB
We just wanted to wish all of our members, friends and families a very Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be Blessed. Also, just a reminder, our dojang will be closed on Thanksgiving Day in recognition of the holiday. We will reopen on Saturday morning for our traditional after turkey workout, 11am class and noon class only. Everyone enjoy your holiday, stay safe and let us all remember to be thankful. GMB
On behalf of myself and the other staff members at TBTSDC I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of our members, their familes and our many FB friends a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Our dojang is closed for the holidays and will reopen on Saturday January 2nd, 2021. Happy Holidays my friends. GMB

Tampa Bay Tang Soo Do Center sends our heartfelt and deepest condolences to the family and students of Grandmaster Robert A Cheezic, who passed away on January 17,2021. GM Cheezic was a true pioneer in the martial arts world and earned his dan belt back in 1959 under Great Grandmaster Hwang Kee. This was while he was stationed at Osan AFB. He began teaching Tang Soo Do in Waterbury, CT in 1961, and founded the Cheezic Tang Soo Do Karate Federation in 1971. RIP Sir🙏
