I have been doing a lot of murals ,design, hand lettering, pinstripes, and airbrushing for more than 30 years ! I have also done some gold leaf in the last couple years ! I have painted on semi trucks, antique and show cars, boats, walls of all texture and size, windows , signs and many more interesting things ! I have videos and pics on my Facebook page ,too ! Middle Sister
This is one of my most recent jobs in Wellington, Ks. that was totally a challenge but also rewarding to see the finish product ! The old sign was originally done in the 1800's and could barely see what it looked like before we got started ! We had to figure out how to save the artwork before the wall was cleaned ! So we took black and roughed in the outline and measured all areas of the letters in case the cleaning took off the design. You could barely see the colors so that was also tricky to figure out ! The limestone and mortar were really rough,dusty and brittle ! Even though it was extremely exhausting work we really appreciated the opportunity to be the ones to do this sign !
