The guys at Tates are top notch. I was in one heck of a bind driving back from Florida to Kentucky when my water pump went out and my truck overheated on I-75. I desperately needed help to get back home ASAP and these guys helped me out in the biggest way and for that I am eternally grateful. I called at 7 AM the morning after I broke down, right when they opened, and Chris told me to bring it in right away and they’d see what they could do. When he started my truck to drive it into a bay he immediately knew what the problem was and told me he could squeeze me in on what was a very busy day for them. The technician who worked on it did a very good job and did it very quickly. I couldn’t believe how quick I got in and out. I thought it would be an all day wait for me, but boy was I wrong. To the guys at Tates, thank y’all so much for squeezing me in and for taking care of me when I desperately needed help. Y’all are the best.

Winter Maintenance vehicle check list:
Antifreeze - A quick & simplecheck of the coolant will tell immediately how much protection it will deliver in the cold temperatures.
Battery - Cold weather saps the cranking capability of batteries. Have the battery inspected & replace it if the cold cranking amps aren't sufficient.
Belts & Hoses - Cold temperatures can increase the chance of failure for worn or cracked belts & hoses. Use the change of the season to have them inspected and replaced as necessary.
Tires - Air pressure in tires will change with the temperature. Making sure the tires are properly inflated can enhance fuel economy & prolong the life of the tires. Also, be sure to have the tread wear inspected.
Windshield wipers - Winter brings precipitation so have the vehicles wipers inspected & replaced for normal operation.
