We would like to give a huge Thank You shout out to the Lancaster Police Department. Taylor Rental had its fence cut and a plate compactor stolen in mid June. We had posted some still-shots from our security cameras but did not have any luck identifying the individual in the video stealing the compactor. We filed a police report with LPD and turned over the video and they were able to identify the individual. Below is a snap shot from Mobile Patrol of the perpetrator. Not only did LPD identify the suspect, they also tracked down the people who bought the compactor for a fraction of what it was worth, which should have been a sign that it was stolen. Nonetheless, the compactor was returned to us this morning by LPD. Can't say Thank You enough for the work the LPD put in to track down the suspect and return our property. Thank You, Thank You.

Company Wrench is chugging along, like the old reliable freight train that delivers the goods. Although business is down due to the virus shutdown, we have not been sitting idle. We just finished a new 7000 square foot parts warehouse addition in Carroll at the headquarters and are currently remodeling several areas of the building to accommodate a larger graphic design area, a new break room for our welders and engineering department as well as a expanded training room able to hold up to 100 people at a time. We are also moving our paint shop and truck repair facilities from our front shop to our back shop. Needless to say, we are busy even though we have not been busy, but the last 4-6 weeks we have seen a steady increase in business, so the projects are slowing down due to availability of man power. We hope to complete all Carroll remodel work by spring next year.
We built a brand new store for our Cleveland group. They waited patiently while we worked through the process that took us 2 years to complete with all the setbacks we encountered, but it was worth it in the end.
We also opened a new store in Kentucky last year and are discussing some additional facilities in the not so distant future.
My team at Company Wrench is second to none, and I cannot say enough about everything they do to make us successful.

After 2 years of chaos, we finally finished all the construction at both Taylor True Value Rental and Party Plus, located at 450 and 430 West Fair ave. The stores look fantastic, we have more room than ever before and we are finally at full staffing levels. Business has been booming at the equipment side and we are starting to see more and more activity on the party rental side. We have both stores being managed by dedicated employees who understand the business and what the customers need.
Please stop by and check the facilities out and speak with Colleen, the general manager of Party Plus and Charlie, the general manager of Equipment rental. I feel confident the stores are in good hands and the future is bright. Thanks to the customers and employees who stuck with me through the chaos of moving, demolishing one building and building a brand new one, then remodeling and adding on to the other. We look forward to serving the community for many many years to come.
