TC Dance Club offers all forms of dance instruction, with Ballroom dancing, Waltz, Foxtrot and Polka being the most popular, closely followed by the Latin dances that we teach, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Tango and Samba Mambo and Merengue.We also teach the really fun Swing dancing, such as the East Coast and West Coast Swing, Hustle, Jitterbug, Single Swing and Lindy Swing. We teach the Adult Social Dance styling of dance, the "just for fun" dancing, not competition or show dancing. Dancing is as easy as walking once you are taught by a TC Dance Club expert. Thousands of satisfied members have been successfully trained at the TC Dance Club over the 30 years of our operation. There is no age limit. Our oldest student is over 70. The youngest are usually in their late teens. The great majority are in their 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's.Will it take long?The length of the program depends on how many dances you would like to learn and how proficient you would like to become in each dance. However, you will be able to dance the basic steps after your first lesson.Is your system of teaching difficult?We teach 6 basic movements, from which the dances are derived.How much do the lessons cost?Your investment defends on a number of factors: how good you want to be; what dances you want to learn; the number of days and weeks in your dance schedule, etc. Try your complimentary lesson. After your first lesson, you will know if you wish to continue with your dancing, Do the program fees have to be paid in advance?There are several convenient methods of payments available. If you prefer, you can budget the fee in small installments...to suit your needs.Will I really learn the steps?Yes. You can learn the very latest steps in any or all of the social dances - East Coast and Lindy Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Mambo, Waltz, Tango, etc. Country dances are also taught.Will I have to return year after year to retain my steps?After getting a good foundation and learning to dance correctly in the beginning, you will be able to retain your dance ability quite easily. However many members remain at the Dance Club simply because they enjoy their lessons, the group activities, the dancing confidence and the new friends they have acquired.May I take the lessons at any time convenient to me?You may take your lesson at any time you wish. Our club is open from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday, for your individual instruction. Some Saturdays by special appointment.Will I have a good teacher?All of your instructors are competent. The instructors selected for you are the ones who best suit your personality. To qualify as a TC Dance club instructor, they must complete a most arduous training regimen.What benefits do I derive?Dancing is our first line of social activity.
