TCU Business Services Relationship Officer Rickey Miller credits the Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County for helping him and his siblings develop life skills when they were young adults. Today he’s helping other young people do the same as a YSB board member — and as part of the team who went "Over the Edge” to raise funds for the nonprofit which supports local teens and helps them become more self-sufficient. #TCUCommunityCommitted

What makes a vacation sustainable? It’s more straightforward than you might think: If your trip helps protect cultures or support local economies, then it’s sustainable. As we begin to explore again, the idea of treating our planet with even more care than before is definitely one worth pursuing. TCU’s partner, Rejuvia Travel, can help you choose a tour operator that works with local guides, or check into a hotel that sources its food from nearby farmers. Visit rejuviatravel.com to talk with a travel expert, who will connect you with companies that are making a difference.
A $2,500 grant from the TCU Foundation supports the Read to Grow Children’s Book Club, a program of Kosciusko Literacy Services. The Ready to Grow Children's Book Club provides one book a month to over 500 preschool-age children in Kosciusko County to help them develop literacy skills to prepare them to enter school.
On #NationalGoodNeighborDay, we’re mindful of the difference that small acts can make today and every day. The importance of neighbors helping neighbors has become especially evident this year, and TCU remains committed to supporting our neighbors in the communities we serve across Indiana and southwest Michigan.

Happy Wednesday! Today we are crushing on Anne Feferman, TCU's Vice President of Business Services. Anne has made quite an impact on TCU in her 30 years at the credit union, starting as one of the original "Loan by Phone" team members. She has such a big heart and advocates for others, within the workplace and in the community. Her role model is her late mother, who taught her that nothing is a barrier unless you make it a barrier. Anne inspires us to have a sense of humor even when life gets tough. She says, "when confronted with the most awful of circumstances, one can remain composed and even grateful and I will always believe that a good sense of humor is as essential as oxygen." The focus on serving members and team members is her top priority. Anne’s leadership skills along with her willingness to always take on new projects makes her a valued resource for TCU, our members, and team members. Keep crushing it Anne! #womencrushwednesday #wcw #my_tcu #tcucommunitycomitted
