Tecie has lived in Rapid City since 2014. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In her clinical practice, Tecie specializes in both trauma and health care counseling. She treats those living with chronic pain conditions, health anxiety, medical trauma, medical weight management, neurological disorders, sleep disorders and other long-term illnesses. Tecie utilizes brain-based and body-centered approaches to physical and emotional well-being in psychotherapy. Chronic illness impacts the entire family system, so she often assists couples and families in navigating the intimate challenges resulting from illness.
Tecie loves the Black Hills and enjoys hiking and running. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and has been practicing direct mental health care since 2013.
