As Halloween approaches, we want to remind you of a couple of ways to keep your smile nice and shiny. Candy is the best way to cure your sweet tooth, but realistically it is important to know the facts about how to keep them healthy. The best way you can prevent cavities is to make sure you are regularly flossing and brushing your teeth, especially after all the delicious Halloween candy that you will be eating.
Happy Tuesday! November is TMJ Awareness month and some ways you can detect that you may have TMJ is by the following symptoms:
1. Pain in the TMJ or jaw muscles
2. Joint sounds such as clicking or popping
3. Limitations in jaw movement
4. Tension in face or neck
5. Headaches, especially in the temples
Make sure to get a checkup every 6 months for a cleaning and let your doctor know if you have any symptoms.
