Dearest Residents, What an experience this has been. We learn so much the hard fast way in difficult times. I am reminded though that good neighbors, good friends and caring people are what makes our world a pretty okay place to be. We will get through this one day and one step at a time.
Over the next several days as our pipes thaw in the attic and walls we will find new leaks, new issues and problems to address. We are very fortunate to have excellent service team members and suppliers that will prioritize all of the Francis Properties. A few certain items:
1. Steps and walkways will be slick - hold onto the hand rails, use salt or sand if possible. 2. Pour bottled water in the toilet tank to flush if you do not have water. 3. NEVER run a generator indoors. The carbon monoxide is deadly. 4. Fire systems are down due to leaks so all residents need to remain on fire watch for one another. Literally looking for any sign of fire. 5. If you pipes are frozen leave the faucet off and cabinet door open. Floods become more prevalent when handle is left own and water overflows the basin. 6. Call in or email to make sure we have a record of pending repair needs, wet vacs, sheetrock damage, or other items. 7. As supplies and manpower are available we will be there. If you see irrigation leaks, please let us know as well.
8. Cars in garage - do not leave a car running in your garage without the garage door open. It must have ventilation.
We thank you and we appreciate everything you are doing to minimize damages! We hope to have you buy soon for a hot cup of coffee and take time to share the experiences of amazing people.
