Terrace Dental Group remains closed. If you had an appointment scheduled, office staff will be calling this week to cancel and reschedule when deemed safe for patients and staff.

"On March 24, the Maryland Department of Health mandated that all healthcare practitioners, including dental, postpone all non-emergency procedures and visits until this “catastrophic health emergency” is over. Only the Maryland Department of Health and the Governor can say when you can resume seeing patients. There are many conflicting dates and other states announcing plans to reopen or revisit when businesses can “open.” At this time, there is no established or estimated “back to work” date for Maryland. The MSDA will be sure to share this information once any future direction is known."

🦷 Announcements from Terrace Dental Group 🦷
We have had some staffing updates!
Last August, we said goodbye to Dr. Shah as she moved on to a new endeavor. We wish her the best in moving forward in a direction closer to her home and family.
Many of you know, our long time hygienist MaryBeth McCarthy O'Boyle. She had been with TDG for 21 years. She was an incredibly dedicated, professional and highly skilled hygienist who decided to pursue a new career path. If you ever had the opportunity to sit in her chair, you knew she loved her family, travel, and had appreciation for the beauty of nature 🌳. She added so much to our team for several decades and has been sorely missed.
We welcomed Marty Rippeon as our new knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable hygienist. Her entire professional career has been dedicated to dentistry; 12 years as an oral surgery certified assistant and the last 27 as a practicing hygienist. She previously worked at Terrace Dental from 1994 -1999, leaving to practice with her husband Daryll until his retirement from dentistry for health reasons.
She states she is "very happy to be back at Terrace Dental where we all share the philosophy of providing excellent treatment in a caring environment. As part of the amazing team here, I enjoy personally working with my patients to help them attain and maintain a beautiful and healthy smile." If you get to meet her, you will know you are in caring and capable hands. Marty is more than happy to answer your questions and takes the time to educate patients on every step of the process.
Additionally, we give a very warm welcome to Dr. Ismael R Montané. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is a University of Florida alumnus and graduated from Boston University School of Dentistry in 2010. He also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency from Boston University, where he received advanced training in prosthodontics (implants, crowns, and dentures), endodontics (root canal treatment), oral surgery, and pediatric and geriatric dentistry. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and conversational in Portuguese. He is Invisalign certified and an active member of the Spear Study Club.
Dr Montane feels strongly about helping underserved populations. Throughout his career he has participated dental missions to rural areas of other countries, with an emphasis treating dental disease in young children.
Dr. Montané lives in Gaithersburg with his wife and three-year old son, Sebastian. He enjoys exercise, cooking and trying new foods, and home improvement projects.
Please help us in both saying goodbye and welcoming the new and wonderful developments at Terrace Dental Group.
Dr. Weakley feels infinitely blessed to have a strong team of incredibly proficient, warm, and caring staff. 🌟💛⭐️
