📓The Michael Chekhov Technique is a psychophysical technique that utilizes the body and the imagination, and the knowledge that the two are inextricably linked. Through playing with the tools and principles of the technique, students will work to narrow the gap between impulse and expression.
This work WORKS. Students have said “Bethany is easily in my top five teachers of my life thus far.” She gets “involved in the work alongside the students, therefore making it feel like one big ensemble.” 🧡

“I think that this work is particularly important and particularly special now more than ever because when there is so much happening that kind of distracts and splinters and fragments us away from ourselves, art (and this particular work) really grounds us in our individuality, in our personal points of view, in our personal feelings. And it really is a coming home, so to speak. You know, giving yourself permission and the validation to live in your truth is really at the center of what we do here. And to encourage that by doing it and encouraging others to do that couldn’t be more important than now.”

March 12th marks the one year anniversary of the last in person class at our Studio, and what a year it has been! Moving from in-person classes to online training has been nothing short of a challenge, but also such an amazing and joyous ride.
