Today, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it will cancel the current administrative furlough that was scheduled to begin on August 30, 2020, "as a result of unprecedented spending cuts and a steady increase in daily incoming revenue and receipts.” The furlough would have impacted more than 13,000 employees, or nearly 70 percent of USCIS’s workforce.
We are pleased to announce that Tesoroni & LeRoy has re-opened in our newly expanded office. We now occupy both the first and second floors of our building which enables our clients and staff to maintain proper social recommended distancing. In addition, we will provide masks to those clients who arrive without any required facial covering and will screen body temperature as well. Appointments are generally required; however, those who do seek our services without an appoitnment will be seen if there is sufficient space to be seated while maintaining the required social distance. We look forward to again seeing our loyal clientele and welcome the new.

President-elect Joe Biden will roll out a sweeping overhaul of nation’s immigration laws on Wednesday, including an eight-year pathway to citizenship. Under the proposal, those with DACA or TPS would be eligible for a green card immediately.
