COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on so many. In addition to the physical devastation of the virus, many lives are being negatively impacted by the economic impact on families and businesses. Businesses of all sizes are being forced to lay off employees. Dental practices are no exception. One of my friends who owns a large practice was forced this week to tell 40+ employees to seek unemployment. Please join me in praying for all who are being negatively impacted by COVID-19.

I am incredibly honored to be appointed to the Dental Review Committee by Governor Greg Abbott. I started the day arriving at the State Capitol before dawn. It was a beautiful, crisp morning. As I walked up to the Capitol, I was overwhelmed with thankfulness for my many blessings. I spent the day in Governor’s Appointee Training. The training started with an awesome prayer. The common theme of the training was: be ethical in all you do, and flee even the appearance of impropriety. Governor Abbott gave an inspirational address. His agenda is threefold: help build families, help people work, and protect liberty. He charged us to give great customer service and always follow the law. I have the utmost admiration and respect for this man!
